"Lucky" and the bags are on their way to Paris
Driconeq is one of the sponsors for Team Rynkeby God Morgon Värmland 2019, the Nordic charity cycling team that every summer cycle to Paris to raise money for seriously ill children.

The bike “Lucky” and its owner has been traning and preparing themselves for almost 3000 km before the ride that started Saturday 29 June in Malmö, Sweden. Then it’s “only” 1200 km left to go to Paris via Germany.  The riders of all the bikes will really get a memorable journey and see so many things on their way. On Saturday 6 July they’ve reached their goal in Paris.

ABOUT TEAM RYNKEBY – GOD MORGON

Team Rynkeby was founded in 2002, when 11 amateur cyclists associated with Rynkeby Foods A/S decided to cycle to Paris to see the final stage of the Tour de France.

Rynkeby Foods was the main sponsor of their trip, which was also backed by other companies. In fact, the cyclists who joined the world’s first Team Rynkeby team were so accomplished at finding sponsors that, when the team returned to Denmark just over a week later, the team had made € 5,100 profit.

Team Rynkeby donated their profits to the children’s cancer unit at Odense University Hospital. A tradition was born!

2,100 CYCLISTS IN SEVEN COUNTRIES

Today’s Team Rynkeby comprises 2,100 cyclists and 500 volunteers, divided into 54 local teams in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, the Faroe Islands, Iceland and Germany.

Team members are selected from thousands of applicants, who have completed the application form on the Team Rynkeby website.

ALL FUNDS RAISED GO DIRECTLY TO CHILDREN WITH CRITICAL ILLNESSES

For almost a whole year participants must not only prepare themselves for the 1,200 kilometre trip to Paris but they are also obliged to do what they can to raise money for children with critical illnesses.

In 2018 Team Rynkeby donated EUR 9.4 million to organizations that help children with critical illnesses.

Good teamwork in the Swedish Vasa Relay
The annual event “The Vasa Relay” in cross country skiing, was held 3rd March 2017 and both part of Driconeq International (DQI) and Härdtekno participated.

The race is divided in 5 different distances with a total lenght of 90 km. The start went off 8 o’clock in the morning and ended in the afternoon around 3 o’clock.

The internal fight between the three teams; Driconeq 1, Driconeq 2 and Driconeq 3 was tight. Five participants in each of the three teams=15 people + service people! Imagine the logistics and teamwork for that….. 🙂
The weather was showing its best side and it was a beautiful cold sunny winter day with perfect ski trails.

Great job everyone!

Congratulations to Driconeq 2, the winner of Driconeq 2017 Vasa Relay!!!

Geolorn puts Apex Drilling into reverse
Geolorn, has set up leading independent drilling services contractor, Apex Drilling Services, with an advanced Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling and sampling system.

Working with their partner companies, Driconeq, Numa Hammers and Skelair; Geolorn, converted Apex’s Comacchio drilling rig, allowing for 400m deep exploration holes.

Driconeq’s RC drill pipes, use an advanced sealing system, which lowers pressure losses in the delivery air pressure, increasing the energy delivered to the Numa RC hammer and creating a greater pressure differential (vortex) within the inner pipe, forcing cuttings up inside the drill pipe. Small differences make the largest impacts.
